Cheese Presses 2012
Description
Cheese press is used for compressing the fresh curd in order to remove excess of extra whey, since spoilage of the cheese is hastened by retention of too much water in the finished cheese.
Operating Methods:
After the cheese vat the curd is being moved into pre press table for weak pressing with weights. After the pre press table the curd is being removed into the cheese press for few more hours. The curd is getting condense and solidifying removing the remaining whey out by squeezing the curd. After a few hours in the cheese press, the cheese is being packed in vacuum Cryovac bags and being moved for the incubation stage.
