This line of setting-out machines has been designed and built to meet with the requirements of tanners working with sole-leather. In fact, the machine is especially suited for setting out butts and shoulders for vegetable or mixed tannage.

It is available in mm. 1800 of working width, with the following technical features:

Full-dianneter high-quality treated steel biade cylinder, fitted on adjustable roller bearing supports;

Electronic balancing of the biade cylinder, before and after fitting the blades;

Solid bronze blades (also available in 316 stainless steel); Hydraulic machine opening and closing controls, with adjustable limit-stop shock absorbers;

Brush for cleaning the flesh side, independent from the rubber-covered roller movement, controlled by a hydraulic motor. The brush is also equipped with a hydraulic device for automatic feed or stopping; The knife roller is equipped with a hydraulic device for automatic work-thickness positioning, allowing the roller to act with the same intensity on hides having different thicknesses;

Hydraulic reverse-feed device, to re-process the most difficult parts of the hide without having to insert it twice;

Machine opening and closing controls are located inside the side frame, in a position protected from water, rotating on waterproof bearings. This system limits greasing to once a month;

Double operator safety system, with work area protected by a sensitive barrier and two-pedal machine closing control;

‘Siemens’ electric equipment in airtight enclosure, conforming to international safety standards; Hydraulic controls feature ‘Sperry-Vickers’ motors and valves.
