Reverse Pulse™ Baghouse System
Baghouses 2011
With ever increasing EPA specifications, dust handling has become a critical component in all asphalt plant operations. With that in mind, Dillman Equipment has a ruggedly constructed system manufactured out of 1/4″ corrosion resistant steel plating that sits on heavy-duty I-beam legs.
The revere pulse system of the Dillman baghouse is what’s unique about the design. A rotating, clean air nozzle assembly controls the system. This assembly is indexed by a simple, positive mechanism to insure the sequential isolation and cleaning mechanism is PLC controlled from the operator’s location.
The bags are cleaned by isolating a single row of bags and then directing a pulse of reverse air that causes the bags in the row to expand and expel the collected dust cake from the surface of the bag. Then it continues momentarily to thoroughly flush the dust into the collection hopper, where an auger system removes it to be stored, reintroduced or wasted.
The air is then exhausted from the baghouse by a powerful dual drive fan with options for inlet or outlet vane dampers.
