The Goldhofer AST-2F/L 400 series are multi-talents in the field of barless aircraft tractors. These vehicles have been setting the standard for many years when it comes to manoeuvring aircraft in the 100 t to 300 t MTOW class reliably, quickly and safely on the ground.
Even the basic version (2L) guarantees highest levels of flexibility and economy thanks to its broad, diverse aircraft range. The AST-2F with liftable / lowerable cab additionally enables so called under-belly operations.
Especially conceived for ramp-handling, the AST-2R is deployed in situations where high towing speeds are not the primary task.
No matter whether push-back, gate-to-gate, distance towing or or even high-speed long-distance towing is required, the AST-2 series fulfils every expectation.
With permanent hydrostatic 2 or 4-wheel drive, powerful motorisation and innovative detailed solutions.
The unique 60° steering angle on the front axle guarantees excellent manoeuvrability. This means that this tractor class does not require all-wheel steering.
Optionally available accessory packages, such as GPU, enable the owner to adapt the vehicle to all operational requirements.
