Flueboost 800 Inline Chimney Fan (Boilers <234kW) It will handle flue gases at up to 300 Deg C and boilers with heat outputs up to 800,000 Btu/h; 235 Kw. (Normally secondary flue temperatures of the average gas appliance working at 75% efficiency are 180 deg with CO2 content of 5%). The motor is a speed controllable unit with class F windings. The bearings are maintenance free sealed ball bearings with adequate lubrication to ensure reliable operation for many years. A plug-in electrical connector is supplied, this is a multi- pin connector fitted with a five core lead, the five cores are colour coded.

Brown – permanent live; Blue – permanent neutral; Green & Yellow – earth; Black & White – switch live from thermostat to fan; Black – switch live from fan to boiler. NOTE:- The output supply is 220/240 volt switch live only. The pressure switch has contacts which close with air flow and open in the case of a fan failure.

NOTE:- The pressure switch has an interlock installed which ensures failsafe operation. The fan has built in pre purge & post purge periods (time delay). RSVG chimney fans are specially designed to work with heating appliances burning gas and oil. The fans have a built-in fail-safe system consisting of a pressure differential switch and a flow measuring system. The fail-safe system complies with BS 5440: 1990 Part 1 and BS 6644: 1991.

RSVG chimney fans are normally installed on top of the chimney where the vertical discharge column prevents a plume of gas flowing down the outside of the chimney and thereby complies with the Clean Air Act. RSVG fans can also be wall mounted.

RSVG chimney fans are used with heating appliances and provide a controllable negative pressure along the full length of the flue and chimney. The fans guarantee optimum chimney draught irrespective of the placing, dimensions or height of the chimney which is beneficial to new or existing installations.

The chimney fans offer capacities which will cover domestic appliances up to multi-boiler installations with a heat output up to 1MW.
