NSI Rotary Kiln

Rotary Kilns are used to heat solids to the point where a required chemical reaction(s) takes place. The Rotary Kiln is basically a rotating inclined cylinder, solids retention time in the kiln is an important factor and is set by proper selection of diameter, length, speed, slope and the internal design.

Rotary Kilns are normally direct fired and lined with refractory material to protect the steel shell, reduce radiation losses and transfer heat to the material. A typical Rotary kiln is cylindrical shell, slightly inclined from the horizontal and supported on two or more tyres, which in turn rotate on rollers. One of the tyre is fixed axially by a set of thrust rollers to care of the thrust load during kiln movement. The drum assembly along with the tyres are rotated by a girth gear/ pinion arrangement. Shell diameter and length are generally designed to suit specific products.

HTT Rotary Kiln

HTT manufactures Rotary Kiln Systems that will operate at 12 – 100 Tons per Day. All system components are factory built and tested. By using a 309 SS liner and ceramic fiber insulation, we can shop assemble the largest systems without exceeding the weight and size restrictions of standard freight. Shop fabrication and on-site time is minimized. Complete systems can be designed, built, installed and operational in 3 months. System components are shipped as a standard Sealand type trailers. Locally available cranes and rigging equipment can assemble the system in just a few days. Electrical and piping installed in one week.

The unit shown in the attached pictures was delivered on Monday and in operation on Thursday morning the same week. The system is 12 Tons Per Day Rotary Kiln Incineration system for solid waste. The unit was installed by a private company with contracts with the US Customs, DEA, and FBI, for disposal of confiscated drugs.

Cement rotary kiln

Cement rotary is the main equipment in the dry production line of clinker cement. This series of rotary kiln consist of bowl, supporting part, supporting device with catch wheel, gearing rigging, flexible kiln hood, kiln hood and kiln end sealing device, nozzle device and so on. The rotary kiln is higher than the horizon as the whole body is supported by the riding wheel with the catch wheel controlling the up and down move of the kiln body.

Besides the main transmission, the transmission system sets auxiliary transmission device which can keep the kiln body move when the main power is off to protect it from bending deflection.
